To gain a sense of security for eternal life, many

will aspire to practice some religious rite or hold to some moral

rule. However, even for the most zealous adherent to these

attempts, absolute assurance of right standing before God is not

certain. In our current passage of study, Paul explains that there

is only one means through which any can know the guarantee of God

for eternal life-by grace alone, through faith alone. -Romans

4:9-17
